I do find myself locking my doors and pushing in the fridge at least 4 to 5 times before I go about my business. I also am a clean freak and use paper towel or tissue to touch stuff around the house even after using Lysol. When out I wash my hands like 20+ times a day too. But its not an inconvenience to my life or those around me so I think I'm good. :manny:

I do believe mental illness exists ,and I think the way sick people are treated,in comparison to how those with a physical illness are treated is generally a disgrace ,however I think psychiatry is a giant moneymaking scam. I am not saying all psychiatrists or psychiatric nurses are conpeople or evil people, but the entire system actually hinders people with mental illness's getting better.

This is mainly because while much is known about the brain these days, far less is known about the mind and what goes wrong with it, why and how best to treat it. Treatment if you call it that is about control, rather being focused on being curative, also I think in some cases, caring for some people in the community is less humane than placing them in an institution provided that instiution is a caring supportive place. It is also in my view not fair to expect, neighbours, police , families to be nurses.

If I had any say, I would have parity of spending on researching the mind and what goes wrong with it and why as well as aiming for curative treatments, better drugs initally, but in the long term when there is much more understanding surgery. I have watched documentaries on cancer for instance and how the patients are treated as well as their families, you compare that to what occurs in mental hospitals or the sham that passes for community care, and the difference is night and day.

The aim would be also , to make places like these history.

Broadmoor Hospital - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I regard everything single inmate there both living and lying in the graveyard as an example of the failure of society, the mental health system as well as the prison system, because there are a few evil c*nts in there, that are not mentally ill,but should be in cages being fed like zoo animals.
