This shyt done fell off quick. The funny thing about all of this is none of the nikka's he called out responded yet. To be honest, all the responses I've heard so far sound like butthurt rappers who having been in the scene for a while. I'm sorry but I'm past these playground corny diss tracks. Everybody rapping on the same beat, I don't want another A Milli trend, shyts getting annoying.
To me, they brought nothing to the table. Lyrically Lupe, had the best response in my opinion, but at the same time he's coming off pretentious and whiny, and that's coming from a Lupe stan.

I pretty much agree with what Wale and Talib said about this shyt. Everybody blew this shyt out of proportion to where instead of moving forward, we moving backwards. Everybody wants Kendrick to be bodied so hard, they call every diss track gold. I'm sorry but the only response that had substance was Joels. Everything else, been there, done that. Same ol punchline rappers, government name referencing, outplayed shyt. But everybody thinks it hot, because they're so desperate for Kendrick to be put in his place.

Kendrick laughing this shyt off, look at how many nikkas he got catching feelings. All all he did was call out his "peers", nikkas he did features with, and quoted a Kurupt line (KONY). The damn verse was obviously inspired by Kurupt in the first place, but most nikkas look past that or don't even know. I've heard enough responses, I'm done with this shyt, unless Nas or at least a nikka he called out on the verse drops a response, ON A DIFFERENT BEAT. I don't give a fukk what anybody has to say, save the smilies, the smirk remarks, cliche insults for another poster.

Word is bond!! On the real the best ones for me personally have been Lupe 'cause of how lyrically he came out on the track. And last but not least Pun's son Chris Rivers. No one is talking about that shyt. That shyt was hard as fukk.

True, but at the same time these irrelevant ass nikkas ain't got nothing to lose. That's why you see a slew of them come out with responses and what not.

A few of these are actually good though if you take them as freestyles and not actual personal attacks or disses that are really designed to hurt somebody's career. Lets be real, this is really just artists taking advantage of the situation to get some shine the same way Kendrick wasn't really personally attacking NY or the newcomers, just using his verse to generate some controversy. And there's really nothing wrong with that. Listen to Ransom's Diss, Joel, Pun's son etc. You have to be crazy biased if you can't acknowledge that these aren't ill freestyles.

Oh believe me I gave Joel props, like I said he brought the most substance, and Lupe brought the most lyrcial. But yeah I agree you're right...

In fact... I'm starting to think this shyt was planned and it's some universal push for nikkas to eat off of and get exposure. Like Kendrick hasn't address the shyt yet, not one interview. And it's funny to me how a few bars can stir up so much controversy, and how much everyone blowing it out of context. Plus, it's becoming one of things where radio plays a song too damn much and destroys it's replay value.

Lupe's track is the only one that I've listened to more than twice. And that's including the original Control song. All of the others are cool, but I don't even need to hear them again to be honest. Lupe's just came with that wit that nobody can match. Most of the other disses were personal attacks and just punchline basic IMO. Lupe came with that cerebral shyt that doesn't get played out after a few spins.
