In my opinion, everyone who is gonna respond needs to respond on this song.

BUT

They also need to drop nothing but heat rock for the next 3 months. Just some non stop biting nikkas heads off shyt. Use the response to grab the listeners ear. But then up your own catalogue right after to build on whatever success you had.

If anyone just drops one song in response to this, they've COMPLETELY missed the point of the competition.

The competition is trying to be the GOAT. Not having the GOAT freestyle to the Control beat.

the only response that's needed is for these cats - especially the MC's he named - they HAVE to drop quality music! not a personal diss track towards Kendrick. especially these cats droppin a whole song & it's still not as good as K Dot's verse. PROVE to the world you didn't deserve to be on the list by recording & releasing dope ass music, it doesn't have to be directed at Kendrick

duke was never solid when it comes to convincability and his technical base is only two to three syllables at best.
he can only do twista bites, like everyone else.
or boom bap style bpm's,...
he lacks the ability to pocket his flow on diverse sonic landscapes out side that realm.
this song was more of that.
all that stop and start fast to slow shyt is because he really has no real mic presence like that.
plus, he loses his flows.
or never actually pockets one.

which means that shyt is not dope.
anybody could have said the shyt he said and it was to far from comprehension bar to bar for the audience that Kendrick has to be potent.

I stated that lupes flow is all over the place, so in that respect i agree that he never pockets a flow on this track. But i think a couple or bars were nice, nothing more. Not flow or delivery, the content of a couple bars.Overall this track is a let down for me.

You say KL did nuffin, like usual ...... but he got the whole of hip hop, including you, debating it. He has openly called out names (which rarely happens in the mainstream these days) and basically told them to up their game. He is challenging them, thats not doing nuffin. PR or not, that man has put himself there be to be shot down. He got n*ggaz catchin feelings left right and center.

I'm intrigued to see how this all plays out and i for one, find this whole situation exciting. And it started from that verse.
