1. "Heart of The City" was played in Chrysler Commercials and for the American Gangster Trailer, Takeover contributed to one of the biggest and best Hip-Hop battles in history, and Izzo (H to the O) was the biggest single from the album. Tell me what Just Blaze produced songs were "more popular" than that?

2. Blueprint made sped up soul samples popular again and made it a popular sound for Hip-Hop for most of the decade and Blueprint is listed as one of the top 10 greatest albums of 2000's. Some would argue it was probably Jays best album. It's def in the classic convo.

your defense is a chrysler commercial?:snoop:

the takeover beat is a str8 rip breh.

soul samples were already back. this was moreso its re-entrance into the mainstream.

izzo is one song. blaze generally had the more popular beats. hell, the heatmakerz' beats were more popular than kanye's back then.

Lol your defense is stupid. You keep telling me Just Blaze beats were "more popular" but you can't explain how or what made Blaze's joints more popular then Kanye's joints.

I gave you examples of Kanye beats and all you can tell me is "Blaze's beats were more popular".

Lol how nikka? Explain.

what is there to explain? if you were in-the-loop and had any type of cognizence, then you would already know.

and you didnt give any "examples". you brought up a commercial. thats corporate chit. that doesnt neccessarily reflect whats really going on out here. nor should you even be using that as some sort of defense if you were hip-hop.

There's a lot to explain on your end since you have the weird capability to redefine what exactly the phrase "popular" means.

And yes I brought up commercials and "chit". Ye's beats from The Blueprint were widely used in mass media meaning they had sense of "popularity" attached to it.

Explain to me what made Blaze's beats from Blueprint more popular than Kanye's?

Also, I don't see how Blaze's beats were better. Ye, Bink and Just were equally dope.

I think Takeover is trash instrumentally but the impact of the record can't be denied, Heart of the City, Izzo, Never Change. Girls, Girls, Girls Pt. 2 arguably the best beat on the album. Hate what Ye's become but his work here can't be knocked.

im not redefining chit. it just sounds weird to you because you were probably stuck in the house back then. im not even having this argument. chit is too silly.

youre the one doing all the redefining. your whole approach is a violation. youre not hip-hop.

i was talking about them period. not just blueprint. LOL. but since you took it there. "izzo" was one of the few kanye beats that were poppin on the level of a just blaze joint. kanye grabbing a mic enhanced his standing. thats why just blaze tried rapping for a minute afterwards.
