I am neither for nor against the assertion in the OP.

It made me a little sad to think that Hip Hop becomes unlistenable after 10 years or so.

I was listening to PYT the other day and I like it more now than I did when I first heard it. If our music isn't having that effect then are we missing something?

I still love all my Golden Era sh;t so personally I am satisfied.
