Michigan had a streak of REALLY good defensive players and corners just before that, that performed better than their potential showed in college (leon hall, etc). And the steelers and patriots love michigan players. Morgan Trent and donovan warren got drafted for the same reason....

EDIT: And jamar adams got tryouts from it...though he was sniffed out before the draft LOL
