I have even heard of some ex military kats making fake certification / degree programs to get the GI Bill money for folks and eventually got busted.

I know a chick that got caught up doing that. She got a "degree" thru some college in New Zealand. The real lick was when they opened up that you could transfer your GI Bill to anybody, I knew cats who were selling their shyt for like $30-50k under the table. They didn't care. They got their bachelors or associates using TA and that was as far as they wanted to go in academia.

The idea that Black people going to college is a "scam," when we have some of the lowest rates of attendance and graduation has always been idiotic.
We navigate more barriers as a people in dealing with education than other races and ethnic groups, but higher education *completion* is absolutely a worthwhile endeavor and improves everything from life expectancy and health to long-term earning goals and child success.

Everyone who can enroll in PSLF should immediately.

Yep I knew a kat that did that too. Its so many hustles ex military kats know and some do...using their military benefits some times selling them to others for profit.
