You think they should pay Daniel Jones?
I think they’d be smart to walk away from that and find value in the market
They've waited a long time to be good and I feel they know the difference with Jones when JT goes over 100 and when he doesn't
And Carlie ain't down there writing for nothing. They both get taken care of imo

All indications have been they plan to sign him long term and I think giving up those two first for Sauce was another signal of that
Let this season play out but it's clear that Daniel Jones is not a top flight superstar QB.
The Sam Darnold contract is what the Colts should be using as the baseline. Maybe even less than that cause Daniel Jones has never in his life had a season like Darnold had last year in Minnesota

Why shouldn't they? He fits the scheme they run and you don't have to run yet another body out at the start of a season trying to learn the playbook. There's value in stability in the most important position and he's only 28. Who's going to do better?
You obviously aren't paying him like he's Mahomes, Lamar, or Allen. A Baker Mayfield, high guarantee dollar deal is more than solid since he's that and maybe a slight notch above.

They shouldn’t bc it’s Daniel Jones. He’s playing OK but that team is stacked and tbh he’s not being asked to do much besides don’t turn it over. It’s the JT show, and they’ve got talent on the outside
I’d be seeing what up with Mac Jones in the offseason or another backup that’s experienced. But that’s my opinion, he’ll most likely get his check

Colts Daniel Jones is over Giants Daniel Jones pretty comfortably. Besides, Shanahan's system turns shyt into pudding. I don't trust Mac Jones just like I don't trust Purdy outside SF

It’s funny bc I made a post somewhere else the other day that I don’t think DJ is that different from he was on the Giants. He’s not being asked to do as many things on the offense. They’ve taken away a lot of the responsibilities that I think he struggled with in NY. And again the Colts are just a much better team and situation. Having Pittman, Pierce, Downs, Warren makes his reads much easier that’s elite talent not even mentioning JT
