I didn't really listen when Dallas Penn was on there... but Combat Jack is definitely a "I like to hear myself talk nikka". Half the time Combat Jack is cutting off the guest trying to be all descriptive about something the guest is talking about. nikka shut the fukk up and let the guest be as articulate/inarticulate as they are.

I didn't know if I just felt this way until I listened to the Diamond D episode. Diamond flat out sounded annoyed at certain points.

Tell you the truth I believe a lot of the time even though Pete is kinda off-topic... he doesn't take up enough mic time to piss me off. He's alright.

I havent paid attention to the show for a while, because i just haven't been interested in the guests. Like others have said. His show is only interesting when he has certain types of guests.

Any off these new dudes, or non East Coast dudes(with some exceptions), it just doesnt work.

i remember when dame said something like" yo let me finish" or something like that...

Pete never added that much to the show, i always thought maybe he had some relationships with cats outside of the 80s/90s east coast that Combat knows. i think Pete was the conduit for cats like Bun B, Scarface and others getting on the show they seemed to know him from other ventures.

I think Pete is pretty big in the sneaker world and thats where he has alot of relationships with people.

Back to the thread. I gotta be honest. I only like the show for the interviews. I'd rather hear combat and who ever he's interviewing honestly. All those other dude besides benhameen and just blaze i didnt care for. Pete didn't add much to the show. I hope they're still cool though.
