Man I got a lot of respect for CJ but the last show with David Banner was borderline listenable, he damn near interrupts him every other sentence to make some lame joke or unnecessary inference. Never gives the guest time to breathe with a question, always interjecting mid answer. He had a good run I guess

Yeah that too. You cant force charisma and you cant fake being funny and witty. Either you are or you're not.

It seems like Combat was on the verge of doing some big things and then everything stopped. Now the market is so big and nobody really recognizes you for being an OG of the market. Both Combat Jack and Juan Epstein haven't really gone where I thought they'd go, and they're the two older podcasts in the game.

Pioneers get slaughtered and the settlers prosper. I tell this all the time to people who think have a first/early market advantage is a big ordeal.

Was just speaking about this the other day.

After Pete left, the show got kinda weak.

Pete's new podcast is already better than The Combat Jack Show. He's just more personable and funny, which is what you need when hosting a podcast.

Never thought I would be listening to Pete's podcast more than Combat Jack's but here we are

I dont know if you peeped that Andrew Schultz podcast where Pete broke down the reason he got kicked off the show but that had some influence on me not really fukking with Combat's show anymore either

Premium Pete is annoying. I listened to the episode with Kevin Gates and Pete made it very difficult for me to enjoy with his lame ass jokes and general lack of awareness.

I used to go on long ass walks just so I could listen to the Combat Jack Show while breathing in my neighborhood.

I do the exact thing. Late at night when it's quiet I get through half a long podcast.

Truth.

The first episode I realized it was starting to fall off was the Jadakiss joint. You get Kiss on the show, you can speak to him about all kinds of shyt that people want to know about or mad funny stories. But they dropped the ball on that one, and that's when I realized how important Pete was to the show. It's just way too dry now. Combat can't pull it off by himself.

U seem a lil too focused on Pete. I know its your opinion & i respect it, but i seriously doubt most of CJ listeners feel this way cuz of Pete not being on .

Most of us just miss the entire group podcast, not Pete. IMO Pete didnt bring anything really. He was just there. But with the group he at least
had a part. They used to clown on him & he used to say off topic shyt. Not more tho.
