Friday is a great comedy film but come on.
That movie doesn't automatically ring a bell when i think of the best movies ever. Juice and poetic justice are better.

Its a great stoner comedy film. That's it. Heat and bravehearts are in that category as some of the best films ever.

Is it just me, or is it weird to hear Ice Cube of all people have "handlers" to tell him what to do?

na but this case is different because it's not the typical podcast interview. you can tell he's on a promo tour for that movie he's dropping, and this interview was just another quick stop on the way while in town.

This is a dope interview. Cube was having fun didn't want to leave, but he's on that promo run for the movie.

He needs to come back for a longer interview. I love hearing how these legends are huge fans of the music and were/are stans of others who came before them.

i agree with you, but you'd be doing yourself a disservice as a Cube fan to pass up on this interview

he actually opens up more than his typical big commercial type interviews, h'es more comfrotable and willing to give thoughtful answers
