Judges are going to keep retiring this isn’t a ending battle. Giving Trump another 4 years on top of McConnell’s 8 years of stalling appointments gave them a bigger heads up.
So first we gotta stop the bleeding.
On top of that giving up the final say of the Supreme Court ruling is a major way to give up any chance.

The fact that they're all getting on message about this makes me think this has to do with one of the Conservative judges. I feel like we'd be hearing more non-committal answers if this was just about RBG. If Trump loses, I wouldn't be surprised if someone like Alito retired in the lame-duck session to sneak in another judge. Dems better respond forcefully.

This has been on my mind since last night. The lack of fight in the democratic leadership and their inability to work the process has ruined this country. The 2000 election should have been the end of getting beat on process but instead it appears to have amped it up since Republicans have seen how spineless the other side is. And funny enough, the only time we see Dems play hardball and get their hands dirty is when it’s time to block a progressive from making change.
