Yeah, the more I reconsidered it, the more Im in line with you. Then again, it's not clear that one robot is aware of the other robot, so their answer may be erroneous.

I didn't make it clear but yeah they each know not only what door is what door but also what robot is what robot...

Shouldn't have doubted myself.

One of my more common failures on tests in the past. Idk how many times I put the right answer then over-thought it and changed it to a wrong answer.

Behind one door is freedom, behind the other is death.
One robot will always tell a lie, the other will always tell the truth.
You may ask ONE question to ONE robot to determine which door will lead to free

Hum, how about if I ask one robot what the other one think and not directly what they think ?
1. If I ask Robot A what door Robot B will say is the freedom door, he will lie and point to the opposite, therefore the Death door.
2. If I ask Robot B what door Robot A will say is the freedom door, he will tell the truth and point to the Death door because he knows Robot A is a liar.

The trick is Robot A will always lie, so either he will lie directly (about B's answer) or indirectly (when A will truthfully say he'll lie).
So I have to ask one Robot which door the other Robot will point out as the good door, then they will always point the wrong one out because of that liar Robot A. And I will have to take the other door.
Don't know if I'm clear

You entered in the possibility of a robot guessing what the other will say given that there will be no opportunity for the other robot to make their response known. My answer is the real answer.
