Rings are a team accolade. Do they matter? Sure. But rings are a team accolade that shouldn't be used as the top measuring stick as to who is the best player ..as in...individual.
For example..lemme throw this out there. Let's say lebron finished his career besting Kobe in every statistical category minus a couple...averages and overall...finished with 5+ mvps...and had 3 rings. I'd consider him better than Kobe career wise. How many rings have Kobe won as the leading points man let alone 3 or 4 statistical categories? I'll put more weight in rings in THAT instance..still not the end all be all.
Do you guys realize lebron has been to the finals with a cave team and lead in the 4 major statistics? Points..rebounds...assists...and steals. That's crazy.

But last years team had bums like Mike Bibby and Eric Dampier starting when they wouldn't even get playing time with any other club. If the Heat had an decent enough bench you wouldn't have Lebron and Wade playing damn near every minute of each game.
