At the end of the day no one in the real world with any credibility puts Lebron over MJ at this point...so its always funny to me when Bron stans on the coli who never even saw MJ play argue so hard for dude

A center shooting 37% from the field is not beasting. No matter how you try to spin it.

Kobe had 23 points and 15 rebounds. I guess he was beasting too right? :youngsabo:

:snoop: 19 points and 18 boards is beasting you can keep talking about shooting %'s

Celtics woulda been up 20+ if it wasn't for gasols rebounding and scoring while kobe was goin 3-20

You make a good argument, I disagree slightly.

First IMO the Heat are an All-Star team (especially compared to the competition in the league right now).
Bosh (is a #1 option player) is arguably a top 10 player and a top 3 big man.
Wade (When healthy is a #1 option play) and arguably a top 5 play and a top 2 or 3 guard.
That with Ray Allen (although past his prime) the all-time best 3 point shooter in history.
When has Jordan played with a crop of players any where close to the caliber of the heat? (especially compared to the league competition at that time). I believe even without Lebron (given that the lakers, spurs and celtics are basically past their primes and are done) the Heat would still be a top 2-3 team and likely win the championship (Especially if Wade is heathy).
So again IMO the Heat are an All-Star squad.

Secondly MJ is a better all around player than Lebron is. I don't think it is even debatable. But thats me lol

Bosh as a "#1" option in Toronto wasn't very effective. 1 trip to the playoffs in 7 years and they got swept. That was when the East was weak. Sure he got points and rebounds because somebody has to get point and rebounds on a shytty team, but they were clearly empty stats as his team rarely won.

D. Wade? Come on, let's face it. He's done. His athleticism is gone and he never learned how to shoot. :flabbynsick:

And Wade hadn't been out of the first round since what 06 before LeBron got there? All this "Magic and Bird" talk needs to stop. Wade and Bosh are not Magic and Bird. Besides, Jordan, Magic and Bird all played alongside multiple HOFers in poppin cities so I see nothing wrong with Bron leaving a team of bums in Cleveland to go play with has-been Wade and never-really-was Bosh in South Beach.

But the main thing is LeBron is the superior player to me. I watched them both play. I watched all 6 Jordan titles. But LeBron's size simply allows him to do more. Jordan could get to the rack at will. So can Bron, but he's bigger. Jordan developed a midrange game but so has Bron and Bron is a better 3 point shooter at this point. Jordan developed a post game and that ill ass fadeaway but LeBron has developed a post game at a younger age and is more versatile with it because although his turnaround isn't what Mike's was, he can still turn, but he can also power his way to the rack with it. Just another dimension because of his size. Same thing with defense. Both elite perimeter defenders but LeBron has another dimension due to his size. He can guard big men down low, something Jordan was simply too small to do. And then there's the facilitating. LeBron is not only a willing passer but he's an excellent passer. That cross court pass to Miller in game 3 I think was just ridiculous. And LeBron's efficiency is just unheard of.

I know it's not just me because a lot of people feel this way and a lot more will feel this way but LeBron is easily better than Jordan lol. Those 6 rings just skew people's memories. I watched both players play and if I had the top pick in an All Time draft, out of all the players I'VE WATCHED I'm taking Bron number 1 without hesitation.

MJ played in an era with hand checking and a lot more physicality. He was allowed to pester and bother players that Bron isn't allowed to do simply because the game is different now. It's why perimeter players don't tend to win DPOTY ever since they got rid of the hand-checking era.

The mere fact that Bron is a perrenial DPOTY candidate speaks loads about his ability as a defender. Put Lebron in Jordan's era and he's gonna be destroying dudes on defense. 265 Lebron allowed to hand check perimeter players?

If this was true Lebron would have more fouls per game than MJ but he doesn't. Obviously he's being a little too passive.
I avoided mention awards because that speaks more to popularity and competition than any real aspect of your game, which is why a DPOTY can also be all defensive 3rd team in the same year. :snoop:. Put Lebron in Jordan era and he would be exactly the same on defense because he is unwilling to commit fouls.

He's only won one ring to Mike's six, but I'm the one speculating? You're already assuming he's gonna end up with a better career. do you know what speculating means? :heh:

:what: He got his first ring at 27 and is 28 looking for a second. If he gets it, he is one year ahead MJ's pace at the same age. Plus he is not going to retire and go play baseball for a year and half. MJ missed on a whole season and a half and wasted '95 when he lost to the Magic who the Rockets handled with ease. So that is two seasons he missed out on potential championships. Lebron has some wiggle room to still have a 2-3 seasons where he comes up short a potentially still reach at least 6 titles by 35.

MJ is the GOAT right now and my favorite athlete of all time but he even knows that LeBron is on pace, that is why he is out their giving advise to teams on what he thinks it takes to stop Lebron. Its not working though :lolbron:

:leon: You were alive when Jordan was playing? I wouldn't think you were a year over 13 with the stupidity in this post

Two years later... Im glad we're all in agreement now

Umm, you do realize that just because Kobe has the best post game in the nba that doesn't make him a post player....

1.Jordan
2. Kobe
3. TBD
