So how is that distracted? I didn't say what he is saying isn't truth. What I'm saying is black people face the same discrimination in his native country too. You can hear what he is saying and still recognize that fact.

Reminds me of a conversation I had with an Asian friend of mine who always tried to buddy with me on the fact that white people say and do racist things, but turned a blind eye and shrugged it off when his people do racist shyt against blacks.

This is exactly like when you bring up discrimination, and some racist white person flips it back on you on some bullshyt. "Well why dont black people stop committing crimes" You are doing exactly what they would do.

I'm not saying the "exact same thing " because I'm not defending whites or excusing their behavior which is what whites are doing when they claim reverse racism. Im acknowledging how blacks are viewed worldwide and wondering why only white racism matters to non white groups and why they don't address their own issue that does the same thing to us. Im guessing you didn't grow up around a lot of nonwhite people? They bytch and moan about what white people do to them all the while perpetuating the SAME racism to black people. I just want to know what he has to say about that.

Example: the movie Bend It Like Beckham. The protagonist is a Hindi British girl fighting racism in soccer. In one scene she's in the locker room with her teammates and they are running down the list of ethnic groups she can date. When they mention blacks she gives them this look like Why the hell would I want a black man?" And even says there's no way in hell. Yet the rest of the movie im supposed to care about the racism she faces when falling in love with an Irishman when she just dissed black people? I turned the movie off.

Or the Indian kid I knew whose parents wouldn't allow black kids in the house.

Or the Asian professor I had who talked about whites being racist but was deathly prejudiced against black men.

Look, what this man is saying is real and honest and perhaps the best way to explain reverse racism and how it's a moot argument. And what I'm talking about pro a my doesn't apply to him as a person (he's married to a black woman btw). I just had to to say it. I see it all the time and it's annoying.

Everybody with a brain realizes it's just simply reversing the tables, people like this dude like to feel big and proud by treating white people the same as some white people treated their people in the past. This is accomplished by narrowing it down to white people having no rights to complain about mistreatment and other negative shyt towards white people. That is bullshyt and racism. This entire "how could i be racist when i don't have power" you might as well just say "im a retard who doesn't understand word meanings". If you are being racist you are being racist period. Dudes like this comedian just bring useless negativity into the world just to look like the cool person telling white people what they should be doing and reversing the tables.

I definitely agree. Like I said in another thread, reverse racism is real. But I do think a lot of white people mistake pro-black as reverse racism, when it isn't. Like I said, though, reverse racism is real.
