artie is an expert on heroine abuse (first hand) and basically said that when prince refused get that hip operation a few years ago, he was probably prescribed percoset (which is essentially heroine in a pill form).
Then he said he got addicted to them shyts and was reduced to being a junkie like anyone else who gets addicted. he said prince was seen riding his bike to walgreens recently and that he probably had a pharmacist who was doing him a "favor" with the pill supply.
he went on to explain how prince, when they reported him having the flu, that was simply him starting withdrawals, which is why they took him to the hospital, cuz he didn't have any more pills. he said the pills killed him essentially.
then he went on to talk about MJ and how he got addicted when he was burned. but MJ's addiction was waaay worse, cuz he was using dilaudin (which he was getting from a crooked plastic surgeon) which is waaaaayyyyy stronger, and then using amphetamines to wake up. so he was explaining how when everyone was saying MJ looked so good performing right before his death, they were telling the truth. he's using the shot of dilaudin to put him to sleep and amphetamines to wake him up. so when we all saw him performing right before, he was high as shyt and full of energy. it was a vicious cycle. so it's no suprise he died of cardiac arrest from constantly using uppers and downers to sleep and wake up basically.
