Arguably in the styles era, no one was better for the entire time period but Redman.

The problem with common was that he never wrote the biggest record he made. Or the most potent record lyrically.
So, with that he violated everything he was about.

Before that he was pretty much someone you could scrutinize but still culturally had to respect.
After the whole he definitely is a cultural sellout.
I can't even honor the guy no more and I AT one point till 97-98, was easily his biggest fan on earth, easy.
Yet after you learn the real and then see it play out.
You can't credit him in the same manner anymore.

Every week there's a thread slandering 2Pac, K Dot, basically any emcee what a somewhat positive message. I voted no , but I honestly don't think he can produce consistently good music anymore.

Be, finding forever & the dreamer/believer were good albums imo..

Electric circus was alright but not great and universal mind control was a rough listen production wise.
