I'm sick of nikkaz bringing up BE as if that's his best album. nikkaz really going to act like BE > Resurrection? I'll include One Day It'll All Make Sense too. (VERY Underrated Common album). He was at his best with them prime NO I.D. beats. As well as his Soulquarians era with Dilla. I love Kanye, but nikkaz really need to get off BE's dikk. That was a "Safe" album for him. Was it very successful and put new life into his career? Absolutely. Ppl only dikkride that cd 'cause they hated "Electric Circus".

Common is garbage now and has been a disgrace to the culture for the past 10 yrs or so. That being said, if you don't think from about '95 to '00, he wasn't one of the illest Mcs out, arguably top 5 or 10 of that era, I don't know what to tell you. That's what makes this current incarnation of him so hard to fathom.

This exemplifies the greatness of Prince. Had a few misses here or there but was consistent and timeless. Music was subversive and relevant. Ballads and bangers. Blues to hard rock to soul. These threads just magnify the mans musical legacy in my eyes.
By the way i haven't listened to common since that pseudo intellectual abomination electric circus.
