Fair enough. Its been ages since I gave UMC a spin but I remember liking like 2 songs. I only remember liking one from NS
i was furious when I heard UMC
UMC is the worst album by a legendary rapper of all time
It's worse than Blueprint 2, Nastradamus, Lex Diamond Story, and any other mediocre/terrible album I could name

I've never listened to UMC, should I?
This was my joint off that but it wasn't good, "Electric Circus" is even better than UMC. Neptunes over a whole Common album just didn't work for me. Common works best with very organic like sounds if that makes sense that Dilla, Questlove, No ID and Ye gave him..
Yes the last 4 albums have been hit or miss since he left Ye but Common will always be the man and will always get spins for me based off his previous work. Of course this song fits the theme of the album as well:
