Be is overrated because it's the cornerstone of Ye dikklicking. The "Kanye took a great rapper who had fallen off and gave him new life" narrative. Except for the fact that Com had already fallen off and Be was part of his decline

Not Top 5? Only thing I would probably put above it is Like Water for Chocolate. Anyone putting "Resurrection" over those two are being contrarians. I can't think of anything else that Common has made that was better than "Be" or LWFC Just say you don't fukk with Kanye, but the consensus was that this was a dope album.

Anyway, he got one of the most underrated discographies. So I can't see how Be is even overrated, when dudes sleep on his whole catalog.
