Man I tried it for 24 hours, got to 21 hours, yeah I can definitely see it being something I incorporate once a week. Just gotta plan out when I stop eating better, that made the last couple of hours harder.

I work til midnight, so I normally don't eat my dinner til like 11 or midnight.

I'll probably need to force myself to to eat my last meal around 8 or 9.
If you work that late tour biorhythms will be decidedly different, maybe just fast through the day but make sure you’re up for at least two hours after your final meal of the day

Before sunset would be more ideal but if you’re working late your body and mind may be conditioned to look forward to a late meal

I have done 36 a couple times. It was suprisingly easy. I do 24 all the time so my body is used to it.

72 sounds insane. But 36 and 24 sounded insane before too. We dont realize how much of our eating is just programming and boredom and really unnecessary.

What was your first meal after and how did you feel about it

Broke my fast with bone broth. Sipped for 30-45 mins.

Then had a few pieces of watermelon.

45 mins later a couple boiled eggs and that was it since it was late. Oh and had some greek yogurt.

Felt great, woke up my digestive system, no stomach problems.

First full meal the next night was ground beef, avocado, sweet potato, brussell sprout rice bowls. Glorious

Really focus on the way you feel after eating now, you have a clean reset

Many say that melon should only be eaten with other melon and not within 2 hours of other food

The moisture content doesn’t combined ideally with other foods during digestion

Maybe try both and see if you can notice anything subtle

But that’s a good refeeding program. The bone broth restart is usually highly recommended. The previous time I did this I got refeeding syndrome … just realizing that was over 2 years ago now, hmmm

Refeeding syndrome is a potentially fatal condition where reintroducing nutrition after a period of starvation (like a water fast) causes rapid and severe shifts in electrolytes (phosphate, potassium, magnesium) and fluids.

Selecting the wrong foods after a fast can be really bad
