Lord Jamar is a perfect replacement.

No he's not, Joe Budden is old but not that old, he's actually in tune with today's music and culture to a degree, and also generates headlines. He had the Meek and Drake stuff in 2015/16 which is what catapulted him back into the mainstream public eye. Nobody who doesn't watch VladTV interviews knows or cares about Lord Jamar, and that's not a slight against him or his opinions. Also, Budden knows how to do and maneuver this 21st-century journalist broadcast style. It's why his podcast, this show, the Migos Drake Meek Yachty beefs all generate/generated so much buzz. Budden was literally irreplaceable because the show is predicated around what he brought to the table and how Ak bounced off him. Also, they've all already built up a really good chemistry after about 9 months of doing the show together.

From my understanding Joe Budden was the one that created the show. This gives him leverage since Everyday Struggle did so well.

He can do something bigger and have more control. He's not stupid

Joe has been planning other shows and ventures for a while now and has also dropped hints for months on the podcast and ES that he won't be there forever and was using it for bigger things, if that 5 mil number isn't bullshyt, then he probably did ask for it knowing he was on some bullshyt as a shot in the dark kinda thing lol

Joe probably didn't want to do the show anymore anyway, since he's in the works of branching off with his own show. So he asked them for a contract that he knew they would probably never agree to. It's a win win. They sign it, great, he gets his 5 Million and does the show. They don't? That's great too. I can leave now like I wanted to anyway, and do my own thing that I was already working on.

Just seen this, yup exactly what I said in my post

Album soon

I believe this, Iv been saying it for a while, the worst thing joe used to do with his albums is announce them, the title, the producers and the features while playing snippets months before he releases it, then he'd get pissed with fans constantly hounding him on twitter asking where it's at. best thing he can do is quietly work on an album that's he's proud off and just release it suddenly, I'm sure a lot of doors have been opened for him in the last year too.

The 5 Million I can believe. This is the thing, overcharging is a normal business tactic people use when they don't want to do something, you overcharge them, and if they meet the quota, then you do it, and if they don't you walk away.

This makes sense

Plus Joe does seem sometimes to be getting fatigued of the show.
