There's no layering using different browsers. You're still gonna get tracked. If you're concerned about cookies n whatnot, just use incognito mode instead of wasting memory opening different browsers. That is essentially what you are doing.

Incognito disables history and cache for that session. It doesn't disable the use of cookies while using it, meaning you can still be tracked.

Sometimes the internet is really funny - or scary. The Chrome browser is one example. While you believe you are browsing the web, Google is browsing you instead. Check out Leah Elliott's comic on how Google's tracking works: Contra Chrome – a webcomic And check how to stop this tracking: https://tuta.com/blog/what-does-google-know-about-me

@Tutanota IMHO somewhat despicable to put the comic in the name of Scott McCloud, and even more to put words in his mouth. After all, he just did a gig nigh 20 years ago where he drew the developers saying stuff. It wasn't like he developed Chrome before or since.Particularly nasty as Elliott takes the "Hi, I'm McCloud" -phrase from McCloud's howto-books, not from the Google-work. The "McCloud" in the contra chrome-comic is Ben Goodger, who actually DID work on Chrome until 2024.

@Tutanota android was mentioned, which is good.generally speaking, i'm worried about android, and what direction it goes.i have this rhetorical question:will android start showing ads in the screen !?sidenote: iphones collect data like any others, and users do not have control over it.
