I am in NC and it was easy as hell. I even found a class where we didnt have to shoot. They taught us the essentials and the class was 4 hours (normally 8). got certificate, took it downtown, paid for permit, it came in the mail within 45 days.

but standard practice if you get pulled is to notify them you are CC. dont show it to them
give them your ID (and CC license if they ask)its better you tell them up front then they find out afterward

I said permit, I meant to say license. In NC, you need permit for each handgun. they like 25 for first one then like 5 for each additional up to 5. I had 5 permits last year because I hit this pawn shop that was getting rid of all their guns...I only have one at the moment. be careful with a lot of permits at once (over 5) or ATF will be giving you a call

I was told when they ask to hand over your license....to give them both your licenses and follow orders.
I actually don't trust it because I'm black and I am prepared to die mentally if I get pulled over. Just always be aware that these permits were meant for white men. White folks are so delusional that they really thought that most black men are felons and would not be able to get one.
