Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Good lord at this thread. This isn't about Drake getting more artistic credibility. If anything this shows that Drake understood how the game is played early on. We don't have to give him credit for being business first, but to think this story is far fetched is short-sighted. Dre has flown tons of people out to write for him.
Drake makes good music, he's full of shyt, he has written for people, he uses writers himself, what else is new?
that's the amazing part

a guy who's never wrote a single rap in his entire career.... reference track after reference track.... well known writing crew and never gave two fukks about it

suddenly soon as it's said drake was 1 of 100000000000000 writers.... suddenly it's a lie and can't be believed unless proven with photographic evidence

Haha, whatever. Drake has not wrote a single rap. Not a single rap :dead: Not even then super personal shuts about his family issues

People let their fury stop them from having a balanced argument.

People write entire books about other people's lives, not that hard to believe that you could write 32 bars and a chorus about an event in someone's life.

I wouldn't even be confident to say Dr Dre didn't write a single rap

Yeah
Old Fart Jew Cac: "Aubrey we need to to release that single soon on Apple Music. We can't have these other arrogant neggers gaining momentum".

Jimmy: "hey guys lets make the ghostwriter thing disappear by releasing old info about how Aubrey helped write for Dr. Dre."

:lolbron:

You letting your stanhood affect the trust that Drake is just a singer. He's not an artist. He don't write them bars. I'm telling you that I know someone that worked with him for a long time. I'm done with you though man. Send Drake a card, make sure you write the address on them perfect. It's cold in Canada though, don't stand outside too long or you might get frostbite for him to just say no.

I wouldn't call myself a drake Stan. I haven't even bought a drake album. I just fukk with him musically ,recently. You're the one in your feelings arguing over an artist you don't care for. Stop wasting your time fam :pachaha:

Making up lies n shyt, "my cousin Aunty n them used to work them drake" :deadmanny:

So Cal
:patrice:it's possible. i know killer mike was out there too. here's a synopsis for a for track killer mile wrote for dre.

“Pay Up” is a song Mike originally recorded in Los Angeles when he and everybody else worthy of the “honor” was writing songs for Dr. Dre’s Detox album. Since we all know that shyt ain’t ever coming out, a lot of folks are just saying fugg it and keeping the songs for theirdamnselves. This is one of those songs.

but i don't know why drake would be "worthy" at that point.

I dont understand why so many of you are mentioning his legacy?

I doubt he cares about how any of us wax poetic about his career. Does it make you feel good to be like "He can't have a space reserved in my head for being an elite rapper"

Zero Classic Albums

I said the same thing about Eminem but he at least had the Marshall Mather's LP

and is a REAL emcee.. a REAL spitter, A Real writer

I'd take J.Cole over dude

Villuminati > Drake's last album

This just in: Industry plant bought his way into the industry long before he started doing tracks and tried to appear organic. Started from the bottom indeed. Next!
