the GPU makes it look cute, the cpu makes it play cute. its 50/50. if i'm wrong. go ahead and try playing your favorite game without the cpu. shoot put the lowest cpu you can think of it. go find yourself a pentium 3 cpu. and throw it in there. and lets see what happens.

You don't have to go to extremes to try to prove a point. A point which you have wrong btw.

The CPU thing is being blown out of proportion. You can throw in a modern low end $50-$60 pentium chip inside a PC these days and as long as you have a very capable graphics card you will be able to run most games at 1080P with no problems.

The main factors are going to be RAM and GPU. The CPU will definitely help, but it falls to at least 3rd place when all things are considered while gaming.
