let's real honest about the kinect 2. the potential is there but truthfully in regards to games the kinect is . everytime i see something about the kinect it has literally nothing to do with video games. the tech is impressive though but all i'm seeing in the future is more dance, workout, and rail based games.

This is why ive said for years a 100% digital console was fools gold. A lot of you kept saying it was coming but it wont when you have to deal with the initial wave of consumer anger.

My bad I completely missed the key word in that post. Infamous looks dope but I've been fooled more often than not with killzone. I hated the 1st one, the second one was excellent and the 3rd one was butt. Even though the order was just a cg trailer, im interested in that too.

supposedly the reason they are making the kinect a part of the new system is so devs wont have a reason to not use it next gen

i can understand why they didnt want to waste time developing games for it this gen cause the shyt is only a accessory that most people with a 360 dont have(use) it but its no excuses next gen

It will sell out very quickly. Probably by tonight. I can confirm that pre-orders @ best buy have gone through the roof as well.

But who says devs are going to take advantage of it? The only real shine I saw it get at E3 was when they were featuring the TV capabilities. I would have thought there would have been a lot more Kinect based gameplay and integration if what you say is true. Every dev is aware of the Kinect. If they had great ideas for it, they could go that route and make those games. I'm just not convinced that they feel the way you do.

This is the only way they can control 100% adoption though. That's why the xbox one is unfortunately the one to go through all this shyt.
