I don't like the sentiment that everyone is giving you:

Namely that its THEIR fault.

Sometimes the fault REALLY could be on you
.

Do you mind being more specific? How long have you been in your current role and whats the normal trajectory beyond it?

I think this would be true if there was a pattern of this shyt happening to OP.

I work for a large company under the umbrella of a large corporation that you've heard of if you've watched the news in the last decade. We're big. Trust me. We have headquarters all over the US as well as in Asia and Europe.

Last year or so, I got a nationally recognized business process improvement certifcation that my company flew people in and put them in hotels in order to receive. I was the first person in my department, who wasn't my boss, to get it. I graduated from college with honors and found a job immediately. I've never been unemployed all of my adult life. I've made significant strides within the company. One time, when I felt I was stagnating, I went into my bosses office and just said, 'I need more money', she came back the next day with an offer for thousands more. I know how to do my job.

But this time was different, the entire time if felt as if they were looking for reasons not to give it to me. And when I received my feedback, it was some of the most generic and vague explanations I'd ever heard in my life.

To protect the guy, because he has answered this before, he works in the greater financial services industry
:usure:

op don't quit. cacs (and jews who rule them) don't want niccas in that industry and this is how it starts. if you must c00n to stay in the industry, c00n. :yeshrug:

i personally wouldnt do it cause of the way my personality is set up. but i would advise for ppl just to "stay humble" and be fuqqed in the ass. i mean, whatever you do they're gonna get rid of you.

just don't let them crackas and c00ns drive you crazy to commit that. your sanity and peace of mind is important.

i feel sorry even for you negros who make good money in those plantations. shyt's fuqqed that you just have to keep moving forward and take whatever you're given.

Stop with the skin color stuff. Ridiculous generalizations and negativity are not likely to help someone who is really looking to become successful in their industry. If there is a stereotype associated with your skin color, figure out a way around it. Take your destiny in your hands and don't make excuses. We know racism is out there, but there is power in refusing to be defined by it (or by blacks who wish to denigrate those who chose to climb the corporate ladder).

Positive solutions dude.

Someone said to me, 'If you've been branded...you're done for.'
You just might not be that type of nikka.

I worked at corporations and at the initial disappointment of virtually everyone.... I had to quit or get removed from a few positions before I realized.

Some people just can't 'play' slave.

You might either need a 'start up' work culture.... or need to start your own business.

Fair enough, I may have misread.

Post was loaded with that race talk though (c00ning, jews, cacs, etc.), so it came across as negative. I was more focused on him getting actionable advice. Truth be told, it's difficult to move up the ladder no matter who you are...forget a skin color.

but i think they broke my mans down. i can just imagine that bytch talkin to him :ufdup:telling him he thinks he's gonna use the job to get another one. and he's just lookin at her like :why: not knowing what to say... :wow::sadcam::sadbron:

i just wish i was a real super hero and when these cacs come down on my people they call me:lawd: :blessed:and i break in the door :cape:and i catch bodies cause i cannot stand them:pacspit:.

We have some idiots in our company who probably make close to 60k because they really are willing to do whatever they're told and not ask any questions.

I had a meeting over a conference call and had a 'superior' telling me to do stuff with a report. He wasn't expecting me to dig into the issue, but he acted like he was behind the idea 150% and had been doing it himself. I prodded a little bit because what he was saying didn't make sense...and he flat out says, 'I'll be honest with you, I haven't seen one of those reports in months.' But just 5 minutes ago, he was telling us about a process he follows each week religiously. How are you following this process if that department hasn't sent you a report in months?!?! Either you're lying (and bad at it) or you were told to say something (pass it off as your own order) and you didn't question it or dig into it.
