What are you even going on about? I made 1 post haven't even read the whole thread yet just off the top made a comment and you come at me with that silly biracial argument. I tell you I'm not involved in that and you precede to say random characteristics of posters for no reason. You okay, breh? You need someone to talk to or something?

i clarified your stance over black owned institutions because we all see what a lot of you dudes are on with inclusion. if we don't clarify this is for descendants of african american slavery, we're setting ourselves up for the okie doke.

now you attacked me & my post as if i'm just shytting around to derail the thread, when i dont see any one else contributing to his agenda via cash money. so if we arent just typing words on a keyboard, dudes need to start contributing where it counts most.

my bad for being so abrasive but between the lack of post of this thread and dudes position on the one drop rule, i'm a bit perturbed.

Why in the hell do you think I care about a 1 drop rule? I really don't get it. You are talking to the wrong person. Like I said before. I'm not involved in that silly shyt. I said I'm pro black. What is hard to get about that? I donate to things if you have a link to a good cause I'll put some bread up. I have NO issue with that. I DO have issue with you trying to argue a point I never made. I even posted in that thread how stupid the argument was we need to be building, not bickering over who is black or not. I'm for the advancements of BLACK folks. And exclusively like I said. Go argue with someone else.

This will happen....then five minutes later taxes will be raised which will pretty much negate all that.

I agree with the dude above.

If any reparations happen, it should be for the communities, no individuals.
Schools, parks, small businesses, etc

I see. The only problem on my end is trying to mobilize the people who would be down on here because I'm not a well known poster and I feel someone would take it seriously if it was you or @2Quik4UHoes at the forefront of it. When I bought copies of Amos Wilson's book years ago, it was through his publishing company and I actually chopped it up with the guy who runs the publishing company. The Brotha was very knowledgeable and helpful. But I have no problem buying from @2Quik4UHoes bookstore.

If you don't mind, I could send you some excerpts from Amos Wilson's book to give you a glimpse of what's in it if you'd like.

I don't really even think it's that serious breh. As long as you gotta goal and objective, people who want to get involved will get involved.

Is the goal to share those books with people on this site, or is it to share it with people in the cities where we live?

Ima keep it funky with you. Black americans been there done that with this American shyt. We need black dominated countries to build up and start sticking it to American/euro countries. You as a soldier and caribbeans/Africans would be better off making sure that comes into fruition than looking at this thing with an American perspective

Best post in this thread. Sadly, it will go over a lot of people's heads.

Truth is, black people the world over will never prosper until Africa, our homeland, becomes a significant economic player.
I suspect that over the next couple of decades this will come to fruition, provided that African countries invest in science and technology, crack down on corruption and redistribute wealth more equitably. When Africa attains the economic and military might to compete with the rest of world, the entire diaspora will benefit.

When that day comes, America can't deny us reparations on the grounds that we're genetically inferior, or tell us that we're better off in America than in Africa - as if that's some form of compensation.

I like the idea of reparations, but I'd rather take it in the form of land and other wealth building assets than a check.

I also like the idea of moving to Africa, but only under the condition that one has something to contribute. Move to Africa to start a business or open a school, but don't move there and take a job away from a hardworking African.

The goal was intended to get the books in the hands of people who are serious to do something in their communities that need a solid foundation and plan to get things moving. I've noticed that people respond to post from posters that are popular or at least known. For instance, I could be in a thread on black economics and say something and people would skip my post and someone like you could say the same thing I said ten posts ago and people would be on some :ooh::ohlawd::ohhh: type of shyt. But I feel you though.

I will admit, I haven't invested too much time or money into black literature. I've really become knowledgeable aware about people like Dr. Claude Anderson, Dr. Umar Johnson, etc...from here but best believe I will take some time to get into their works. I just started from the Autobiography or Malcolm X when I was in college and took advantage to read into the writings of prolific black minds.

I will admit as well, I am one of many black people that talk but aren't putting in the proper action I would like to...mainly due to my own lack of funds to really put towards it. But that has changed over the years.

If you want to do your part to push the movement forward, you can start simply by putting your money in a black bank. It's an passive act but the money in your account can be used to give a breh a business loan, a mortgage, car loan, etc.

You can also make it your goal to find and support any black businesses in your area. If you're spending money on something, at least make sure the money is going to a black person.

Why? To give these suspect white employers even more incentive to not hire you? A check needs to be cut. Everyone else was cut a check, but when it come to us, we're scared to demand a check :snoop:

We can demand a check, but unless we're willing to put some repercussions behind those demands, they won't be obligated to do shyt.

I think it has more to do with how you get your point across. I try really hard to make sure I pick my words carefully when it comes to serious shyt, but this place is mad cliquish so I feel you breh

All the disunity in the conscious community is disturbing. Mad Africans making it about themselves and in turn completely fukking up the movement. We should all just focus economics. I feel like that would have every other aspect work itself out. I think Dr Umar Johnson was right. We're (generally speaking) using our knowledge to cope with our situation so we feel more comfortable in this hellish system. This place could do so much good of there wasn't so many fukking trolls.
