Boxers are pure skilled. They call it the sweet science for a reason. Anybody with a boxing background is automatically better off regardless of what they compete in. Nothing comes close to footwork in boxing.

But since these guys are fighting cans in main events they never actually get better over time and get embarrased on a global scale after being presented as gods

They’ll run a card of they’re top guy vs some dude named “Eric Smith” and you will have never heard of him yet all of sudden the big talking point is how he’s the best ground grappler in the world. Nobody will say anything because everybody likes to act like they’re experts at the sport so to flat out come out and say “who the hell is this” makes you look unknowledgable because everybody else is running the UFCs talking points on the cans
