Why are you defending MMA so hard?

Boxers are pure skilled. They call it the sweet science for a reason. Anybody with a boxing background is automatically better off regardless of what they compete in. Nothing comes close to footwork in boxing.


MMA is the jack of all trades, master of none. Most don't even hold onto their titles for long.

These guys get better by training,not by main event matches. Simply put most of these MMA fighters aren't the best athletes the world has to offer. Technique will only take you so far before the superior athlete catches up to you. The athlete who is highly skilled will dominate most sports,especially MMA that has many European fighters.

Because Dana White is actually a very good short term booker in that he mixes cans in with his once in a blue moon legit fights.

But since these guys are fighting cans in main events they never actually get better over time and get embarrased on a global scale after being presented as gods

They’ll run a card of they’re top guy vs some dude named “Eric Smith” and you will have never heard of him yet all of sudden the big talking point is how he’s the best ground grappler in the world. Nobody will say anything because everybody likes to act like they’re experts at the sport so to flat out come out and say “who the hell is this” makes you look unknowledgable because everybody else is running the UFCs talking points on the cans

And then when Eric Smith gets in the Octagon against a McGregor or a guy of his ilk he stands up for the whole fight because the MMA media and Dana have been bullying them for months to duke it out because it's apparently what they need to do "to get to the next level" so now you have guys fighting other people's fights so they'll obviously lose.
