anyone talking about 'they shouldve let it go on...' from either side, lookin like a real idiot right now. hope breh's quality of life isnt cut short.

if he is really injured then the stoppage is irrelevant. he shouldve never gotten into the ring with a boxer, much less the best in the world. sounds like he had brain damage to begin with for even taking the fight. I am not saying he should or shouldnt have stopped it when he did. I am saying if it was someone else they probably wouldnt have. injury is a risk in any sport, but most certainly boxing over any other.

You can tell cats who actually boxed and who didn't:heh:

"They weren't 4oz gloves though"

You don't get hit hundreds of times in the face with 4oz gloves and especially not by a PROFESSIONAL BOXER.

nikkas act like boxing gloves are pillows... Get beat in the face enough time with bricks in a pillow and I bet that shyt hurts:heh:

Its not even the knuckles that KO you in boxing, its usually the weight behind the punch and how fast/effortlessly a boxer can get that off with technical expertise. Sometime the hands can't even stand the force of the punch especially repeatedly.

Conors brain was doing the harlem shake most of the 9th and 10th round:mjgrin:

:wow:

I want names of the fighters that's given Conor far worse blows than Floyd.

:patrice: I just posted the video of this dude taking shin kicks to the head, it's a 10 minute long compilation.

how about this - can we wait until a legitimate news outlet reports this? can we at least agree on that!? :gucci:

I seriously didn't expect for cats to be this emotional over this shyt....I'm just not about to believe that this floyd gave this dude any type of brain damage :manny:

It wasn't a couch diagnosis

It was from an actual ringside physician that said being tired doesn't make you dizzy or imbalanced.

And that the way dude was acting in the ring, stumbling and bumbling everywhere while getting hit in the face was one of the signs of brain trauma and a mild concussion... Which I'm pretty sure he had after the fight.

You dont get hit that many times in the head/face with no head gear like that and just come out OK if you're not used to it.. Even boxers who are used to it don't do shyt like Conor did. He got TKO'd... If he wanted or COULD keep fighting, he would've thrown a punch or took a knee for a breather.

Byrd made the right call... Stop the fight before this amature suffers legit brain damage. Especially with that bigass head that was easy to hit
Im gonna say that as a fighter, what ur saying is not true... When ur tired in the ring u look like that. trying to hold on. everytime u get hit, u fall into the ropes. u fall and bounce all over the place. I dont think floyd was really hurting him. but the problem is when ur as tired as conor was... u lose the ability to properly defend urself. and thats when it can start getting dangerous. Conor was at that point. And the ref did a good job in stopping it, because the only thing left to happen was Floyd seriously hurting a fighter who was already out matched

The wild part about the fight was that Mayweather's face was barely swollen. Honestly Mayweather didn't even start fighting until the 6th round.

actually when I saw the post-fight press conference, didnt look like he had even fought yet. the shyt Conor was landing was weak as fukk. he cant punch with those gloves on. he cant leverage and turn his punches.

I see words but I see no names. Name the fighters.

The Truth

as a boxer? Or some other shyt

Because when I got tired I changed my shyt up.. By either clinching, leaning on the ropes and shelling up, or I would take a knee if it got that bad. Never had to, but I wouldn't be ashamed to do it especially if it was a real match

If you stumbling and bumbling around in the ring, getting hit in the face, thats on you:hubie:

Ive never seen too many decent boxers even allowing themselves to get to that point. If you can't hold on, you go down. Not get hit in the face for 2 minutes and not fight back.

Ref did do the right thing though, I agree. I disagree with being exausted to the point where you just get hit in the face for minutes being normal

show me a fight where Mcgregor is taking hundreds of knees and elbows to the face repeatedly in thirty minutes..

And against someone who has been throwing knees and elbows for 40+ years even against the highest level of competition in the sport :heh:

Did you even read the article:heh:

Maybe you missed this HUGE quote of the physician below:

And he can party as much as he wants to with a concussion... He just can't do anything where he gets hit in the head again. Why you think nobody heard from him or his team in a couple of days after the fight? Dude was feeling something and that was from light/easy work by Mayweather..

Floyd out there playing in celebrity basketball games the day after

Floyd doesn't even have real KO power at this stage of his career and he was still beating McGregor ass..

Imagine his ass in the ring with a powerful boxer with speed?? Look at this cat left hook-you can barely even see it

Bullshyt. When you have a brain injury you are in hospital. Don't know if any of you have ever boxed or been around the boxing scene. You arent out doing cocaine and drinking like a maniac the day after having a brain injury from a fight.
