Considering selling my Altima for an older BMW

My 2006 Altima is at 90k miles but I'm not really feeling it anymore. Thinking about buying an older model Bmw 5 series or X5 that will definitely be over 110k miles.

Thought about riding out with it for as long as possible but I need something new.

Are BMs really full of trouble? To me, Lexus is on the boring side style-wise. Infiniti is cool but they aren't as timeless as BMWs...

Anyways to me BMWs are overrated. Here in NY I see them on the streets all the time and so they lose their "exoticness". Everyone and their mother wants one.
