Always feasting off of Micrometers, especially for processors. :blessed:

Though their in-store video card prices with no deals always are like 20% more. :patrice: But when it's on its on. Got a friend a GTX less than 6 months after release for 40% off with combination MIR and Facebook deal.

:lupe: Brehs, is it better to go Intel or AMD? I got an i5-3570K sitting in my wish list for my next rig. It's the most expensive part out of everything I have set up, pushing my budget over $800.

if the i5-3570k is on your wish list just hold off... by the time battlefield 4 comes around or something that requires new shyt , then new PC shyt will be out by then at the same price you are looking to get that i5

id wait a few months if you are content playing games currently.. buying an i5 right now might put you back when the new shyt drops honestly..

Good looking out, I was gonna wait till close to December to build the system. I guess everything in my wish list will fall significantly in price by then.

if you want a system that will last you a while through next gen, i'm going to say probably 1200 if you build it now... for one, we don't know how current cards will run next-gen titles, and two, as games get more complex, they are going to tax the cards a lot more. You always want to build your computer with wiggle room.

:dwillhuh: but we do know how the current cards will run next gen... they arent using some innovative cards in these machines, we know that Titan which came out months ago is 3x as powerful as the cards in the ps4 and xboxone. Video card will be the last of your worry unless you got a 560gtx like the poster above me.

The reason you dont upgrade NOW is because financially it doesnt make sense, because by the time the new systems come out new PC shyt will be out as well making current shyt way cheaper or if you were going to spend $1200 now might as well wait and spend $1200 then and get the new more better shyt

and between now and sept/oct/november theres literally not a damn game that I can think of coming out that would be worth it to upgrade your computer :manny: unless one is slipping my mind... battlefield 4, titan fall everything that will be more computer intensive isnt coming out for awhile

I still think building incrementally is better than dropping $1,200 at once. I can probably make it playing on high all gen with $1,200 spent (6+ years)

The strongest thing you need is a quality PSU (fully modular if possible) and slowly swap out parts from there. Part switching is only a 5 minute process.
