The right answer is 7-800$
No...the right answer is about $660 with headroom to improve. I can probably chop it down to about $525ish with rebates and other shyt that I do :smugdraper:

If you really want to see me get crazy I can get your final cost down to about $200-$300, but you need a good amount of cash flow and people who like PC's to make it work as you will be buying parts/waiting on rebates/and selling all the vouchers you get :birdman:

The next generation of desktop AMD APUs that is supposed to comeout later this year called, "Kaveri" is supposed to have a GCN (Graphics Core Next) GPU and also supports GDDR5 memory. So you'll be able to build a budget gaming PC that outperforms the PS4/XB1.

I prefer nvidia graphics and the bang to buck (for the most part) of AMD processors

It should be the other way around though :patrice:

$350 with a intel processor and amd card would out perform $350 with AMD processor and nvidia graphics card and you can go up from there any price range and it would be the same

I hate knowing that games are out there that I can't play with physx

Little shyt like that bothers me. Plus the GPU is always more important than the CPU...at least thats how it has been for the past 5 years or so. Hell, you can run almost any game @ full 1080P with a celeron as long as your video card is a beast.

without NaughtyDog, Sony Santa Monica, Sucker Punch and Quantum Dream making PC games there's no way one could build a PC that's better than a PS4.

So you can forget about that my friend

Might get a slightly better GPU but that's about it.
All most PC gamers need is valve with steam pumping everything out. PC games will also start looking much better than PS4/XBOX One games within 6 months after launching. Seriously...a 7850 is considered almost mid-range at this point.

Also, I see a break-through in emulation pretty soon :ohlawd:
