Console-only gamers - how much do you think it would cost to build a PC > next gen??

If you want the match the XBOX One/PS4? I guess let's go with 8 cores since more games will start utilizing them because of the consoles
You are going to have to deal with MIR and selling bundled items as well to get the most out of your money.
You can save some money by going with a 750W power supply, but give yourself that headroom for the option of another 7850 down the line or a more powerful card if you wish. You can also save on that XBOX 360 wireless controller by going with a wired one.

This about what it will take to meet or beat X1/Ps4 graphics. 1GB is fine for 1080p gaming the same resolution the console will game at.
I think the FX-4100 will register the DDR3 2133 sticks down to 1866. I am not positive though.

Yours a more powerful build. I tried to build mine as closely as possible to X1/PS4 power wise.

If you so worried about it add $30 and get the 2Gb version. I still say its enough for most games out now.
