If you want the match the XBOX One/PS4? I guess let's go with 8 cores since more games will start utilizing them because of the consoles

You are going to have to deal with MIR and selling bundled items as well to get the most out of your money.

Case - $14.99 (after MIR)
RAIDMAX Tornado ATX-238WU Black / Blue SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Newegg.com

Motherboard with 2 PCIe slots - $69.99
MSI 970A-G46 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS - Newegg.com

AMD FX-8120 - $144.99 with promo EMCXPWW35
AMD FX-8120 Zambezi 3.1GHz Socket AM3+ 125W Eight-Core Desktop Processor FD8120FRGUBOX - Newegg.com

8GB RAM - $62.99 (no wasted parts)
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-14900CL10S-8GBXL - Newegg.com

AMD 7850 2GB - $100 (after MIR AND sell the games it comes with online)
PowerColor AX7850 2GBD5-DH Radeon HD 7850 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card - Newegg.com

500GB Hard Drive (Consoles come with this) - $44.95
White Label 500GB 16MB Cache 7200RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Desktop Internal Hard Drive New- w/ 1 yr warranty

1000W Certified Bronze Power Supply - $86.25 (after code PSJUNE13 and MIR)
XION AXP-1000K14XE 1000W ATX SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80+ Bronze Modular Power Supply - Newegg.com

Wireless Keyboard and Mouse - $14.99
Raygo Wireless Keyboard and Optical Mouse | eBay

XBOX 360 Wireless Controller with Receiver - $44.95
New Microsoft Wireless Xbox 360 Controller for Windows Xbox 360 w Receiver | eBay

Wireless N - $14.99
ENCORE ENEWI-2XN42 PCI Express Wireless N300 Adapter - Newegg.com

Bluetooth 3.0 (if you care) - $5.59
USB Bluetooth V3 0 EDR Wireless Adapter Dongle for Laptop PC US Shipping | eBay

Windows 8 - @2gunsup

TOTAL = $619.68

You can save some money by going with a 750W power supply, but give yourself that headroom for the option of another 7850 down the line or a more powerful card if you wish. You can also save on that XBOX 360 wireless controller by going with a wired one.

Build, Tweak, Overclock and :eat: with cheap ass PC games.

You are NOT going to get anywhere close to the price for what you get for the PS4 though...I thought I wanted to be clear about that lol.

Yours a more powerful build. I tried to build mine as closely as possible to X1/PS4 power wise.

:Ididnttouchit:

1GB for 1080p is not fine, unless you're talking about a game like Metal Slugs or some shyt :scusthov:

If you so worried about it add $30 and get the 2Gb version. I still say its enough for most games out now.
