Console Peasants Can't Name One Good Reason Why Consoles Are Better Than PC

As someone that enjoys bot consoles and PC I can say PC gaming is not as cheap and convenient as PC Stans would lead you to believe especially if you want to outperform the consoles.


PC's main advantage is a wealth of options.

Consoles advantage is a laser focus on AAA gaming experiences.

If you have the money you should try both

PC gaming is way cheaper than console gaming. I been on the same $550 for going on 3 years and bet ive played everything you've played + more on pc. I swear, ppl spend so much time on the internet and still don't know shyt If it ain't Madden, 2k, or Fifa I'm not turning on the X1

Notice I said "if you want to outperform consoles" sure you can get by with a $550 machine, but you won't be playing at master race levels and in some cases (watchdogs, wolfenstin) you will have worse performace

My bad. Watchdogs is the only game that underperforms for whatever reason. I can play on high settings with shadows/water on med and get 30 fps consistently. Wolfenstein plays on high at 45+ fps & ultra just barely drops me below 30 fps. Like you said, a $550 built almost 3 years ago will outperform consoles and that's all I need. As far as them $1000 alienwares and shyt, that's nothing but a ripoff

Wolfenstien runs at 1080p 60fps on X1 and Ps4 with "high" settings. I have a rig that seems to be about the same in power as yours. I fear with upcoming "next gen" only games our hardware will begin to show its age.

Can your pc stream its games to your vita though?

Nah, but I doubt I will stream anything from PS Now either. I hate "cloud gaming" in its current form...I need to see drastic improvement.

Thats how it sounds . Depending on your GPU, I'm sure you can flip it for at least $100, put another $150 with it and be good for another 3-4 years. There are very few games that have pushed my i5-2500k past like 50% usage so I'm just upgrading the gpu when I finally feel like I need more power

honestly the worst thing about pc's are the type of people who play them.. like op says that console peasant shyt... but literally there is a whole reddit subculture dedicated to dudes who talk about how lowly console peasants are... i know cause my nerd cousin is a part of that shyt...

i aint playing shyt on no computer screen.... and my ps4 is straight forward and will never lag... thats the bottom line.

Also, console exclusives (AAA or inde/smaller titles and even some multi-plats) only hit PCs a generation behind with emulation or mad late in MP cases. Among all the PC exclusives (mostly indies, let's be serious here), the ones that most warrant a play end up hitting consoles during that same generation and with more content.

You can use the nVidia shield breh...its not that serious if you want to stream your games IMO.

PC gaming has the biggest games in the world (LoL and DOTA 2) and they are not indies.
