It's a losing convo for you ... I mean that with actual respect
I own both systems and have all games besides Horizon because I'm back logged
like other dude said, most playstation games can be played on PC and if you dont own a playstation... you are only missing games that have been done over and over
I play games

I wouldnt care if xbox had 40 exclusives and playstation had 6. I havent played a halo since like the 2nd one.... I wasnt in a rush to play god of war part 5 and I played uncharted for maybe an hour before I cut that shyt off forever. People were like 'start from the beginning' but its the same game with some bullshyt story.... its the same shyt thats been done. Assassins creed is the same way but for both systems... I jumped in on black flag... played every single one after and loved Unity. Everyone said "go back and play the original ones" nah I aint trying to do the same shyt for 5 more games and climb towers to unlock pieces of the city... I'm not dying to do that shyt just to see polygons act emotional with some bullshyt storyboard.
thats why I said playstation people seem autistic, alot of people who ride super hard only get into these weird linear story driven games and put backing into these fantasy characters. I'm just trying to play a good game, when I copped spiderman it was for the graphics and to swing around... I dont give a fukk about who peter parker is or what his made up enemies are. Thats the reason games like Battlefield, GTA, Warzone, Fortnite, Minecraft etc are the biggest games... people just wanna play some shyt that is fun in different ways. Alot of these games have extremely trash stories and no replay ability.... people shyt on death stranding but that game was amazing. I want to play the game not have the game play me.
You could basically tell me what happens at the end of Uncharted and it would just be me running through movie scenes until I reached that point. Nothing about that is mindblowing shyt... you could just tell me what happens in one sentence and save me 60 hours and 60$ ... The first thing I do when I buy a game is check to see how many actual gameplay hours are in it, and can I keep playing after I finish so I can enjoy my money.
Detroit Become Human was good but you could just spoil that shyt by saying "either you help the robo police and humans win, help the rogue robots and take over... or land somewhere in between and get robot rights"
all that development and thats all you leave the game with. I would rather play Fallout 76 when it was glitching than pay 60$ and be stuck trying to play all that over again just because it was an "exclusive"
sony pays for everything, its how they survive. They pay Linux for the operating system, pay companies for hardware, pay studios to create the games, the only thing they bring to the table is putting all of that together and relying on fans to keep them afloat, which works so good that they fell the fukk off since the 90s... they used to be one of the top tech companies with the best quality shyt... now they make parts for vizio and have playstation thats it. Microsoft has been meeting them halfway for over a year, trying to crossplay... offered them help with the cloud shyt... showing their console all the way broken down so they could match it, etc. Sony just doesnt want to meet halfway. If you look at this all unbiased, its clear that Microsoft is here for healthy competition and wants to stay in their lane. Sony is directly not developing the infrastructure to harness their own company and save a billion dollars by not outsourcing shyt. But they are paying everyone else to do all the work for them and just hoping fans stay loyal, which they will. Without Sony buying exclusives they would probably honeslty fold up... they need to buy studio rights and keep shyt going for them. It's not hate, I've always owned playstation since day 1 but they NEED to really develop for themselves and stop paying other people to borrow software and build their systems. Even beyond "console wars" or whatever weirdos do on here... Microsoft just basically makes a dumbed down PC with windows 10 on it and sells it as an accessory... they are literally in the game for fun still selling dumbed down PCs ... its nothing for them to throw out a half a computer for people to buy with the software and emulation already developed and tested for windows 10. At this point they could just say "if you buy xbox live gold ... you get free windows 10 for a year" They will never not make money because the win is built in to what they already do. They dont outsource product because they are the product. Convo could actually get wild ugly if you break it down... Sony doesnt even own what they are doing... 75% of that shyt is leased and on contract. They need to directly be responsible for the lack of engineering they've put themselves through, hence the delays with development. Both systems will be enjoyable so that proves my point... it doesnt actually matter as long as you have fun with whatever you like.
