If the earth is flat then its safe to say that our perception of the sun's size, mass and trajectory are based on a false understanding. If the earth was larger than it is believed to be and the sun was actually smaller, then the area that it shines on would be day-time whilst the parts of earth not in sunlight would experience night. This wouldnt work in the heliocentric model, but you cant apply a heliocentric understanding to a flat earth, as the flat model leaves our current understanding redundant.

i asked this question earlier in the thread. i even did a scientific experiment. i poured water on a big ball and the water just rolled off towards the bottom. surely if the earth was this big sphere the water would be falling off the bottom of the earth into space.

but if you pour water on a flat surface then it makes a puddle. these puddles are oceans and lakes on earth. thats proof that earth is flat.
