What kind of 'single' is this?
This is just a random joint they found in the Daringer folder.

They got a bunch of these.

It's fair to say that Conway gave up on this whole project.

But it's not his fault.

I wish him the best.

Let me be empathic....fukk Shady records.
That’s how I feel but at this point I’m just glad the album is releasing.

Me neither. Too radio friendly with an obvious sample.

That said, breh who said John Woo Flick sounds like a random from a folder was also correct :picard:
I think it's up there in terms of joints they've all 3 done together.

:manny: I like Daringer production without Beat Butcha. This reminds me more of their old shyt and less of their WWCD material.

Idk I’m not a fan of tracks with popular samples looped and done the same way
Man. Unfortunately I really don't even know if Conway's the type of artist that's capable of dropping a true hit. I thought that Total/Biggie joint is a pretty damn good effort. Also it's been long enough where a lot of people might not recognize it, and then get introduced to an old classic joint because it's been so long.

Being a Conway fan is kind of frustrating, because his artistry is really growing and developing, but it's moving in a more personal direction. A lot of these GDMM songs on some Scarface The Diary type shyt. Great music that would make more people like his music, but ironically he's not great at making the type of songs to bring a lot more new fans to his table.

I actually thought the single off La Maquina with JID and Luda that he did on Jimmy Fallon was a really good choice for a single. That would've been a dope single to use here.

Both these singles so far are cool but for a album as hyped as this, I'm not seeing why these are the singles. I like this one better than the first one tho :manny:

Hard shyt. fukk that studio album formula bs.
People would also criticize him if he’d dropped a mainstream or radio friendly single. Some people would be saying “I knew it. It’s a shady album so I knew it was gonna be soft.”

You can’t please everybody. Dope music is dope music. ‘Dope beats dope rhymes. What more do y’all want?’ Like my dude Phonte said.

No one can say these guys didn’t make it their own way. Conway is dropping the album he wanted to make. And he’s doing it on a major label.

And by the way some of his fan base was saying he was a sell out after La Maquina. So you can’t win for losing

:salute: that man and Griselda as a whole for making it on their own terms
