I'm a relatively new Conway fan and loved this album. Surprised the core fanbase aint really fukking with it.:ld:
I think it's largely because of how hyped it was. It was being talked about like it was a top 5 album of the past 20 years, and the rollout was executed terribly too. Soundcloud release and was tagged improperly also.

Going back to it it's definitely not as bad as I used to think.

Some of the joints cut from the album were Spurs, '94 Ghost, Rick Boxes, Fork in the Pot, 3 Bodies, Dead Bodies Left, and some others. He definitely cut some really good songs off of it, as well as 9th Wonder and DJ Premier joints. Anderson .paak was on a joint that got cut too.

It just felt at the time like they cut some songs and rushed it out to get it out before 2018. Conway immediately started tweeting how Reject 3 was going to be the actual masterpiece.

It's insane how disappointing this album was.

Yep. It's not wack but considering the insane amount of hype behind it it was a big letdown and just very uneven.

The intro sounds like it's building up to something but never gets there. Trump sounds like a watered down 50 Cent mixtape joint. Th3rd is repetitive as hell. Xxxtras is super average. Mandatory sounds like a PRhyme leftover track.

I really like the other half of the album though. Bishop Shot Steel and the joints with Benny, Banks, Styles, and Prodigy.

I think this his most praised project behind Reject 2:manny:

Edit nvm
IMO the most common order you see is

1. Reject 2
2. Everybody is Food (or some people say Blakk Tape)
3. Reject on Steroids (or some people say GOAT)
4. More Steroids
5. Devil's Reject

Most of the debate I see seems to be over the #2 and #3 spots between those ones listed.

This makes alot of sense. I think GOAT was my real 1st listening experience from dude, outside of random songs here and there. I had little to no expectatons. I listened to it a grip and the project grew on me more and more over time. It just hit me one day that "this nikka a problem and I like his energy". I like the 4 main projects from Conway, but I guess I put Goat above them all, because it's the one that made me a fan.
