This shyt hard as fukk. Don't see why people are disappointed. This shyt grimy as hell. But the track with raekwon coulda been so much better if it actually had drums. Hate this fukkin trend of beats with no drums. This shyt is boom bap. Gimmie some fukkin drums fakkits.
I don't think anyone is like really disappointed.

The album is hard.

If anyone is a bit let down, it's temporarily, and for 2 reasons, and keep in mind neither of these 2 reasons are a huge deal and they'll be forgotten soon:

1. The fact that it's 128kbps/Soundcloud release, and the fact that Conway played the full album on IG live just 2 weeks ago and it was 14 tracks with no Bullet Klub on there. They have a passionate fanbase, and many people were just expecting the album they thought they were gonna get. Also 1 of the songs on here is 2 years old and another is for the summer. Even if you clicked on Conway's link to the album, some songs are MP3 and some are WAV...it just seems like it was rushed.

2. I've followed Griselda since early late 2015/ early 2016. Some have followed for longer. It's hard to explain just how big the hype for this album has been. Conway and everyone on the label kept saying that t will be the best album from a New York emcee in not one but two decades, and that it's going to be on par with Illmatic,The Infamous, and Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. Hell, Conway's favorite song on the album was called '94 Ghost shyt but he took it off last minute. In fact he said he cut it down to ten tracks the other day because Illmatic had 10 tracks.

Both of these points are not a huge deal. But they definitely hyped it up that not only would this "debut album" be as good as anything ever dropped on Griselda (including Flygod) but everyone on the label said that it was going to be the best project ever dropped on the label, and it was supposed to cement Conway as legit top 5 or 10 rappers on the planet, and establish him as the best rap artist from New York since 90's Mobb, Wu, Jay, and Nas.

Tl;DR - This album is great but it was marketed for like 2+ years as being an album that would be one of the best hip-hop albums of the past 20 years. Any of us that feel let down did not ask for that marketing to be pushed so heavily on us.
