G-Unit could’ve done this.... goofball ass nikkas. Griselda doing it right
Not only does the blood relative thing help, like @Peter Parker said, but Sha Money XL (50's manager and president of G-Unit Records in the 2000's) just did a podcast and was saying that 50 literally treated his artists with the framing of him a pimp to ho relationship. 50 looks at all interactions with the framing that there must be a winner and a loser. He doesn't have a cooperative personality type, and I don't think he's very good at moving in ways that are mutually beneficial for everyone.

Sha Money said it went back to his mom being a drug dealer, and hm viewing every relationship as a transactional affair, or an economical exchange. Sha even said he knew 50 would eventually burn his bridge with him too, and that he was always waiting for the shoe to fall, because that's just what 50 does.

50 is low key a sociopath.

I agree. I don't think we'll ever reach a point where we get nothing.

Did you catch the little documentary series they made for WWCD? That was back in 2019, and they made a point even back then to say that it was difficult for them to carve out a chunk of time to all be in the same location to work on that album together in person, without having to email verses and beats to each other. It's gotta be even harder now. They've gotten a ton of exposure since then.

Yea i think i seen it a while back, the entire label was there, Flee Lord included. These guys are all basically family so i don't see them ever not respecting one another. They're no different from The LOX.

:ohhh:
You just made me realize The LOX is the only major hip-hip group I can think of to never have any public beefs or falling outs. Not even minor ones. J-Hood wasn't a LOX member either, so I'm not counting that situation. If anyone from The LOX ever had any friction, they definitely kept that shyt in-house, and handled it quietly. That's a bulletproof rap group right there.
:wow:

Yea they never had no tension as far as i know. I think there was a video where they spoke about it. Guess they didn't care about making all that money, they got rich their own way and in return they kept the respect instead.

EDIT: Sheek spoke about it.

apples and oranges.

The fame g-unit had dorfs whats happening with Griselda...
...plus Griselda are actual family
Huh??? This wasn’t a “more Popular” thing... this was them breaking out on their own and expanding the brand. Banks, Yayo, Buck were pretty much tied to 50 and what he wanted to do. And that’s it. They should’ve branched out

Blame 50 for that. nikka didn’t want them doing shyt outside of G Unit and would start beef with everybody they wanted to work with.
Buck was doing records outside of gunit
Same with Game
Banks was antisocial
Even 50 was doing outside features

I hear this all the time. Where did this come from?

Sheek pointing out that De La never broke up:wow:

Lox and De La the only groups that seem cool with each other and not just for business.

The Lox might be the best hip hop group without all the accolades. They accomplished a lot though even with out all the awards or platinum plaques. It proves longevity is more important.
