Not that Conway would have done big numbers anyway, but leaks really aren't as bad in the streaming era, especially bc it was only a day early. It's not like the past where you download a leak then never buy the album, most people who heard the leak are prolly playing it on DSPs now Idk if physicals are available but Griselda fans seem like the type to support regardless

That’s my point. He probably would do better than he is doing. However, I hope you are right and that the day before leak doesn’t hinder him. I know these guys like to stay in the niche market, but imagine how bigger they would be with a feature from Rihanna, Arianna or some other mainstream artist?

I'll try to find this article/interview for you. Conway said they recorded Fork in the Pot and Kilo in the Trunk on the same day. Fork was given to him and Kilo was given to Q.

Album is fire, i'm feeling all of the deep songs. The title track is crazy. Alchemist really elevated his production. That Jill Scott track is also flames.

It just doesn’t make sense that a major label can’t clear samples when throughout history millions of samples have been cleared in order for classic albums to be released.

people are def hip to sampling now and they ask for 100,000 plus 90 or 100% publishing. At that point it’s not worth it these days.

I gotta stop playing Stressed. shyt reminds me of 10 minutes by Budden or any other venting "song" of his. Can't think of too many songs like this. And that outro is perfect.
