Probably not up to him. Shady drops it when they say it's ready.
Anyway, my biggest issue with Griselda (WSG and Conway) is that they put out everything they record. Make the people miss you.

WHO MADE THE SUNSHINE was the Shady album. No way would Shady have cleared any of the samples used on Pray for Paris.

All of ya’ll have good points. Conway’s one of my favorite emcees right now. My only issue is I wish he’d slow down and make people miss him a little more. Imagine if he dropped GDMM this June (that’s the plan) and hadn’t dropped anything this February or April. And just given people from last August to the June to marinate on King to a God.
I like that approach better. All my favorite artists growing up dropped like once every year or two. I know the game isn’t like that anymore, but I think 2 projects a year, tops, in 2021 is the move.
But if it’s quality I’ll enjoy it.

Yep. What I’m confused about (hopefully we find more out) is there are definitely some samples on GDMM. It’s a huge reason it’s taken this long. A couple dudes I used to work for had to submit sample sources for clearance. I heard Conway even has dipped into his own pockets for at least one clearance.
So yeah, Shady wouldn’t have just easily dropped Pray For Paris.
BTW there’s an unopened Paris vinyl on sale right now for 25,000 dollars

God Don’t Make Mistakes (GDMM) is the Shady debut album. It was scheduled for February 12th of this year and got pushed back to May/June.
