KD def feels like a song that we’re supposed to like because Conway is a “throwback rapper on a modern sounding beat”, but anybody who was paying attention knew he could do this. He’s getting a lot of credit for the attempt with that one, prob my least favorite joint on there

Yea that was gonna be produced by Statik Selektah. Not sure what the current status is of that album though.

But i'm not going to sit here and act like they've reached a new level of creativity by dumbing their craft down to attract retards.

Speaking for Conway, I haven't really heard any dumbing down. If anything I think he's expanding the types of topics he's talking about.

What I hear when I hear him on these trap records from producers like Murda Beats on songs like KD or Anza is him just having fun.

Like, Conway was doing trap joints in 2015. This is nothing new at all for him. There were like 3 or 4 trap joints on that very first Devil's Reject.

I gotta agree. That OBI is fire. I also lucked out on those DeRap drops, and I'm kind of not wanting to push my luck. I still might go for the straight black version of La Maquina.

Edit: @Monoblock saw your post after. Yeah, I'm going for it. I've been able to get a lot of drops the past 6 months since I started using the Apple Pay express checkout feature on the iPhone. it's super fast. I don't know if I'll go for the OBI though. I don't know if I wanna aim high and not get anything. I just want the music, so I may just gun for the most basic version of the vinyl.
