If she felt they were in the wrong or picking on her she could call her parents to address the situation later. But a student does not have the right to defy a reasonable request from a teacher or school authority figure.

You do realize that the teacher who asked the girl to leave was black right? I will talk the word of the black teacher before a student anyday until proven otherwise. We need more black teachers. Its a thankless job.

I really don't understand how race got brought into this. At best this is case of officer not following police procedure when it comes to using force, but even that is a tricky thing to determine since force in the real world is not something you can calculate like a static math problem. The variables are dynamic, and the officer most likely has to depend on split second educated guesses and experience.

With that being said It really chaps my ass to see all these wannabe experts itt who have zero knowledge and experience when it comes to detaining a resisting perp tell me for a fact on what the perfect degree of force is, as if these situations are fixed constants when in reality they're a big pile of unknown. So let's let the ppl who have the wisdom make the final decision on the officer's actions, and then we can make a judgement call. It's gotten to the point where "we" have to see the antecedent before "we" can justify our anger, even though the evidence is present. That's pretty sad.
There are other ways and methods that has been used in instances like this. I've worked with ID adults, mental health facilitities and I've worked with younger kids since I was 16, many who were many times her size and aggression(she didn't display any). That officer could have worked with the teacher and two arm carried her out the room. Because testosterone was at display, I assume the officer wasn't too happy that she did not respect authority and showed out. At the end of the day, they're appropriate ways to deal with an individual in a school setting and that wasn't one.

The only question I have is, how can any so called "Black man' watch the video and be more upset with her for not complying?

Mom just told me about an 11 year old murderer that used to attend her school.

She said the whole family was bad and violent.

Gave three situations when the brothers teamed up to reek havoc on the school. Everytime the kid got in trouble the mom came and blamed everyone but the actions of her kid.

At 11 he's now serving 7 years. For murder.

Not saying the officer was right or wrong but an absolute statement like that is ignorant.

Let me make sure I understand you: because the girl didn't get up with the cop asked, the use of force he used was justified ?

And why are you bringing up the teachers race? The teacher could have been a cac and it wouldn't have made a difference because we're talking about whether the officer used excessive force.

Because even kids in the class didn't know why the girl was asked to leave





And FYI my girl is a teacher and even she was horrified at what she saw. The first thing she said was they have specific people in the school to handle situation where you're supposed to physically touch students and its not the resource officers job to touch students like that.
