As a white person who's had a regrettable amount of altercations with police, I don't see how he wouldn't have noticed a difference in the way he's treated vs how blacks are basically every step of the way in the justice system.

This here...we need leaders in our community to build a movement. Not holdovers from the civil rights era (Jesse, sharpton, etc), but late 20-40 something's. it's crazy how every other era had leaders - booker t, w.e.b, malcolm, mlk, huey, etc. but post 70's we haven't had shyt. The 80's were a huge destruction of our community, the split between the inner cities and the crack epidemic and the new black middle class (i.e. the huxtable syndrome) completely broke the little unity left. Ever since then it's been the same lets build talk and no action. The sentiment is there, but you do need someone to galvanize the movement to create action, I wonder if that person is out there (cuz it aint me lol)
