We went from Foley Square to Berkeley Center I was ready to give these crackers a pass and give these Devils some points because they had been marching with us but then when we was on Jay street some crackers in buildings above the march started throwing garbage at us.

I was also out there. After the bridge though, me and my girl went away from the crowd so we didn;t experience the Jay street incident. I have to say though, there were a loooooooooot if non-black folks marching out there.

The way I see it...it's like this.

1) build up an economic infrastructure within the black community that helps the black community and recirculate wealth within the community that other groups/races have done for generations/decades/centuries
2) only support said businesses in that community
3) support and promote politicians from that community that will promote said issues to protect the interests of that community.

But I see the other side of the coin too...and this is sadly what it might come down to.

1)Fight back and take one of theirs when they take one of ours...

There are no other options on the other side.

In the western world, the only things that are respected are money, power, and violence.

Marching and singing we shall overcome won't matter if they're going to do the same thing over and over and over and over again...

If you were a youth activist What do you think the President should do executive wise that goes "BIG" the same way the immigration work authorization order he signed weeks ago went....

Secondly after he goes progressively with that order....what do you think the bill we lobby him to tell Congress to sign should look like?

I think the recent idea being floated by some people to take state prosecutors out of indictments to cops and to replace it with a select branch in the federal DOJ...should go even further. By making excessive police brutality not a felony....but a federal crime.. ..

word to @gator_king the issue with the cameras is not the cameras itself...he had the right idea. The issue was that he did just an executive action solely on cameras

We could add more to that like saying cops who are found to not have it on are subjected to termination of employment.......




Strict guidelines that cops be hired in the community they have lived in most of their life......So a white cop from a precinct in Brownsville isn't from somewhere in Suffolk County Long Island....make it clear that they are to be the communities that they have been MOST OF THEIR life...so we don't have smart ass white cops try and live in a community for 1 year and say "hey I can come to this precinct"...

Cops have too much power in this country. Nobody should be able to do what that cop did to Eric Garner without at least catching a manslaughter charge even if the cop didn't mean to kill, or murder charges if the intent was there.

It's not right the way a lot of black people receive brutalization from cops, and I am certain if the police treated whites the same the system would change a lot sooner than it will right now. That's not right, and I'm sorry.

I hope that at least there's some positive interactions with white people out there to offset a little of that justified anger at the systems in place. But be aware that right now this is a war for public opinion. Acts of violence or expressions of blanket hatred plays right into the opponent's hand. Starve the enemy, if you can.

The Nigerian businessman, who was in London on holiday, stopped breathing and was declared dead in hospital.

But the CPS decided there was “insufficient evidence” for any of the officers to be charged in connection with Mr Ogboru’s death in Woolwich in September 2006.

“Frank was not a criminal. He did not deserve to die in the street like an animal.”
